Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service raced to a report of a gas leak in Sage Creek Thursday.
A ruptured gas line was leaking natural gas in the first 100 block of Des Hivernants Boulevard North just before 2 p.m., the city said in a release.
Residents of a nearby building were asked to remain at home while gas levels were monitored by firefighters.
Two people were assessed by paramedics, but didn’t need to go to the hospital.
The leak was halted 30 minutes later by Manitoba Hydro.
