An extended-hours primary care clinic is opening at St. Boniface Hospital this week.
The clinic will be open 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. weekdays and 1 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekends.
The clinic is staffed by a multi-disciplinary health-care team, including doctors, registered nurses and primary-care assistants. They will have access to laboratory services and X-ray where necessary, the province said in a news release Tuesday.
Three other extended-hours clinics are located at Concordia, Grace and Victoria hospitals.
Patients can book same-day appointments at the clinics online at medinav.ca.
