Streamlined applications for community grants open

Applications have opened for up to $2.5 million in community grants through a new program that streamlines the process.

A single-portal application system is in place. Grants were previously managed individually within City of Winnipeg departments.

Funding is available through four streams: arts and culture, community well-being, environmental/green city and recreation.

Applicants must meet the criteria of at least one stream. Eligible projects can get up to $250,000 per year. Applications close Sept. 15.
