Nine more measles cases announced

The province announced nine new confirmed measles cases Friday, for a total of 262 since February.
There are 18 probable cases. The latest numbers are accurate as of Nov. 22.
The provincial government also notified the public this week of more locations where people might have been exposed to measles. The locations are:
- Café 545’s community meal at the Central Station Community Centre in Winkler, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday
- Sharptooth Adventures in Morden, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 22
- Meridian Exhibition Centre in Winkler, from 5:45 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Nov. 21
Public health officials asked anyone who was in those locations during those times to check their immunization records and ensure they are up to date with measles vaccines.
