One dead after fire on Lagimodiere roadside

A person has died after a possible car fire along the roadside of Lagimodiere Boulevard between the floodway and the Perimeter Monday morning.

Fire crews and police were called to a fire at around 6:15 a.m. and found a person with severe burns in critical condition. They were sent to hospital but died of their injuries.

Police said the investigation is in its early stages and gave no further details on the cause of the fire or the victim.
