Osborne Village stabbing injures three

Three people are injured after a suspected stabbing near the Shoppers Drug Mart in Osborne Village on Sunday.

Police arrived to the 0-100 block of Osborne Street around 1 p.m. to find three people suffering from possible stab wounds, Winnipeg Police Service Const. Jason Michalyshen said by phone.

All the victims received medical treatment, with one person seriously injured. Police remained on scene around 3:30 p.m., assisted by Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service staff.

Michalyshen could not confirm whether the stabbing happened inside or outside of the business. Police are investigating, and more information is likely to be available in the coming days, he said.
