Pedestrian struck, injured by motorist

A 76-year-old woman was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon, after she was struck by a vehicle in the Westdale neighbourhood.
Police responded to the intersection of Dale and Roblin boulevards around 3:30 p.m., after receiving a report that a motorist had struck a pedestrian. The woman was taken to hospital in critical condition, but was later upgraded to stable condition, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release Wednesday.
The motorist remained on scene and cooperated with investigators, who are continuing to probe the incident, WPS said.
