Person of interest sought in downtown incident

City police are asking for the public’s help to identify a person of interest in “an incident” that happened downtown last month.

The Winnipeg Police Service said Wednesday its major crimes unit is looking for the person in connection with the April 17 incident. They released a security image of the person but no other information about the incident.

The WPS asked anyone with information about the person to contact the unit at 204-986-6219, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 204-786-8477 (TIPS) or online.
