A person was taken to hospital in stable condition after being pulled from the Red River on Thursday night.
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews were sent to the area near the Harry Lazarenko Bridge at about 10:15 p.m. after receiving reports of someone in the water.
The water rescue team found the person and took them to shore.
The WFPS said Friday it remains unclear how the person ended up in the river or how long they were in the water before being rescued.
