The City of Winnipeg says some of its services will be unavailable for eight hours while its computer network is upgraded to improve security, reliability, and performance.
The outage is scheduled from 9 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday.
The three call centres and online services may experience intermittent disruptions during the planned maintenance, the city said.
Services that will be affected include: 311, Water & Waste, and Winnipeg Transit call centres; winnipeg.ca and MyAccount Services; MyUtility, and the Winnipeg Transit app, Navigo, and Peggo purchases (online and in-person).
Parking ticket payments and appeals, business licence renewals and pet licences, as well as Winnipeg Public Library online services, are also expected to be affected.
