Two teenagers are in custody and facing weapons-related charges after allegedly waving knives at drivers near Kildonan Park on Friday night.

Police say general patrol officers and members of the tactical support team rushed to a weapons call in the area of Main Street and Chief Peguis Trail just before 11 p.m.

The two boys, both in their mid-teens, boarded a Winnipeg Transit bus and were intercepted when it stopped on McLeod Avenue.

The teens were taken into custody. Nobody was injured.
