Police chief’s funeral set for Friday

A funeral service for Manitoba First Nation Police Service chief Doug Palson is set for Friday.

The service will be held at the RBC Convention Centre at 1 p.m.

Palson’s body was found after a fire at his home was extinguished northeast of Portage la Prairie on Jan. 8.

Insp. Jason Colon was later named interim chief of the police service.
