Police investigate Elmwood restaurant robbery

City police are looking for a male suspect after a fast-food restaurant on the 200 block of Henderson Highway was robbed Saturday morning.

The man, armed with an edged weapon, went behind the restaurant’s counter to take the till before fleeing on foot, a Saturday release states. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, aged 28 to 30, and is 5-5 with a small build. He was wearing a brown jacket with a white stripe down the arms, dark pants and was carrying a dark backpack. Police say the suspect appeared to have his face covered.
