Police investigating fire at MLA’s office

Winnipeg police say major crimes is investigating after a fire occurred at Families Minister Nahanni Fontaine’s 1763 Main St. office. around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Upon arrival, fire crews launched an interior attack and declared the fire under control at 5:36 a.m., a media release states.
Just after 9 a.m., northbound Main Street remained closed as a result of the fire. Police are on scene directing traffic.
The minister’s office also had its windows smashed just over one week ago.
Damage estimates are not available.
