Three men face weapons and drug-trafficking charges after police stopped a vehicle on the 800 block of Taylor Avenue.
Officers saw BB gun pellets in the vehicle after they pulled over the driver at about 5 p.m. Saturday, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release.
Two Easterville men — ages 42 and 19— and a 26-year-old Grand Rapids man were arrested. The oldest man faces nine charges. The younger two face five charges each and were released on undertakings.
The WPS said officers seized two airsoft pistols, BB pellets, .22-calibre ammunition, 160 hydromorphone pills with a street value of about $3,200, 335 grams of cocaine with a street value of about $33,500, a gang-affiliated leather vest and gang “support wear.”
