Portage couple were victims of double homicide: RCMP

Two people who were found dead in a Portage la Prairie home were the victims of a double homicide, RCMP said today.

Investigators believe the slayings were targeted and there is no danger to the public.

Police said the victims, a 37-year-old woman and 42-year-old man, were in a relationship.

RCMP discovered their bodies when officers were called to a home on Oak Bay at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Police did not release any information on possible suspects.
