The Manitoba government is funneling $5 million into a new Portage la Prairie recreation centre.
The multi-sport field house, located in Southport, will be built for year-round access. It will have an indoor turf system and modular flooring, a news release reads.
The city and RM of Portage la Prairie have partnered with Southport Aerospace Centre on the project.
