A pair of road wins will be required for the Manitoba Moose to extend this Calder Cup playoff run.
The Grand Rapids Griffins earned a split in the best-of-five series with a 2-0 victory over the Moose on Sunday afternoon, evening things at one game a piece.
It was another fantastic goaltending duel, as Michal Postava made 30 saves to record the shutout, while Dom DiVincentiis made 32 saves for the Moose.
The Griffins got a power play goal from Michael Brandsegg-Nygard at 17:04 of the first period to take a lead they would not relinquish.
William Wallinder provided an insurance marker with 5:12 to go in regulation time.
The series shifts to Van Andel Arena for the final three games, if necessary, beginning with Game 3 on Wednesday.
