Shaftesbury High School was temporarily placed in a hold-and-secure as a precaution Monday following a potential threat.
A letter to parents, provided to the Free Press by Pembina Trails School Division, said an anonymous phone call to a member of the school community included a potential threat.
Winnipeg police officers attended the school, located at Grant Avenue and Shaftesbury Boulevard, and determined it was safe to return to normal classes, the letter said.
A school resource officer will be present for the rest of the day.
