Pre-packaged food recalled over possible listeria contamination

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled several types of Inspired Go pre-packaged food products sold in Manitoba due to microbial contamination involving listeria.

The agency warned not to eat the brand’s Bento Noodle Bowl, Greek Mezze Salad, Dill Chickpea Salad, Super Solstice Salad or Pickle Platter Snack Pack. The products were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and online.

The agency is asking the customers to throw out the affected products or return it to the store it was purchased at.

There have been no reported illnesses from the product thus far, the agency said.
