Province warns of more measles sites

The provincial government notified the public Monday of five more locations where people might have been exposed to measles.

The locations are:

• Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg Children’s Hospital emergency department on Dec. 27 from 2:10 a.m. to 6 a.m.
• Home Hardware in Morden, from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 11
• The Morden Friendship Centre, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 20
• A Christmas gathering at a rural location near the community of Miami, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 20
• Access Event Centre in Morden, from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 20

Public health officials asked anyone who was in those locations during those times to check their immunization records and ensure they are up to date with measles vaccines.
