RCMP issue silver alert for missing senior

Portage la Prairie RCMP are calling on the public to help locate a missing 73-year-old man.

A silver alert was issued Saturday for Wayne Irwin, who resides at a rural address in Rathwell, located about 52 kilometres southwest of Portage la Prairie.

RCMP say a family member visited Irwin’s home and was unable to locate him.

Irwin is described as 5-7 and 220 pounds with medium length white hair and blue eyes. RCMP say he may be wearing a black jacket and black sweatpants.
