RCMP are trying to identify two people investigators believe are suspects in a targeted double slaying in a Portage la Prairie home Sunday night.
A 42-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, who were a couple, were found dead in a home on Oak Bay at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
Mounties said they believe the killing was targeted, while neighbours said the house where the killings occurred had a reputation for drug trafficking.
Investigators have found that two people got out of a maroon SUV at about 7:14 p.m. on Sunday and went into the house on Oak Bay, before leaving the home a short time later and speeding away in the vehicle.
RCMP have released photos of the vehicle.
Mounties are trying to identify the vehicle, which was captured on surveillance. They ask anyone with information to call 431-489-8106 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
