Revolver found in Tataskweyak home, teen charged

A teen has been charged after a handgun and drugs were found in a Tataskweyak Cree Nation home.
A First Nations safety officer contacted RCMP after the items were found during a home inspection in the community, also known as Split Lake, on Nov. 20.
Mounties obtained a search warrant and seized the revolver, ammunition, a small amount of a drug believed to be crack cocaine, cannabis and cash.
A 17-year-old male is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and firearms-related offences. He was remanded into custody.
