The province has reported seven more confirmed measles cases.
The total number of cases in Manitoba since February has increased to 165. There are another 10 probable cases, compared with nine the last time the provincial government provided updated measles numbers. The numbers are accurate as of Saturday.
The province notified the public Thursday about two more places and times where people might have been exposed to measles. One is urgent care at the C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre in Winkler, from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on July 25. The other is the emergency department at Boundary Trails Health Centre, which is located between Winkler and Morden, from 10:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Public health officials asked anyone who was at the sites during those times to check their immunization records and ensure they are up to date with measles vaccines.
