Shot fired into Point Douglas home, man struck

A man remains in hospital after he was shot in Point Douglas on Sunday morning.
Police were sent to a house on the 100 block of Syndicate Street shortly before 7:45 a.m. and gave the 27-year-old man first aid before an ambulance arrived.
The victim was inside the home when he was shot through an exterior window, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release. He was transported to hospital in unstable condition, where he remained late Wednesday morning.
The culprit, or culprits, drove away.
