SkipTheDishes, the food delivery service that was founded in Winnipeg in 10 years ago, is expanding its service to three more Manitoba communities: Morden, Winkler and Thompson.
That’s part of an expansion that has seen the company add 25 towns and cities to its network in Canada since the start of 2024, getting it to 450 across the country.
In addition to the three Manitoba communities, the company also announced 10 others in Ontario, Alberta and B.C., including the Vancouver Island community of Port Alberni.
SkipTheDishes was acquired by U.K.-based Just Eat in 2016, which was itself acquired shortly after by Dutch-based Takeaway.com.
