The first five dogs out of dozens rescued from a Richmond West home on May 15 are ready to be adopted, the Winnipeg Humane Society said Thursday.
The next step for many of the dogs will be getting spayed or neutered at the WHS clinic or at Grant Park Animal Hospital. It will be a few more weeks before puppies and mothers with babies will become available for adoption. Eleven puppies have been born since the 68 dogs were seized from a Brentlawn Bay home, bringing the total to 79.
Those interested in adopting the dogs can call the WHS adoption line at 204-892-2035 for more information.
