City spray pads open Monday

Many spray pads in Winnipeg have opened for the summer season.

Operating daily from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. the spray pads are the first of the city’s summer water features to open, said a news release Monday.

Heated outdoor pools will open starting June 19, followed by unheated outdoor pools and the Fort Garry Lions Pool on June 26. Wading pools open July 1. 

Residents are advised to call 311 or visit the city’s website to check if any particular spray pad or pool is open.
