Stabbing suspect arrested

A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a Feb. 5 stabbing.

The stabbing happened at about 2 a.m. in the 300 block of Princess Street, and a 37-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his lower body. On Monday, the Winnipeg Police Service announced a suspect has been arrested.

Dorian Reid Hardisty, 26, is charged with assault with a weapon. Officers located him in the 300 block of Princess Street at about 1:15 p.m. Feb. 16 and took him in to custody.
