A pair of Winnipeg Jets defencemen were held out of Thursday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning in what could be a tell ahead of Friday’s trade deadline.

Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn, who are both pending unrestricted free agents, were surprising late scratches.  Coach Scott Arniel had said earlier in the day he anticipated both players suiting up.

Ville Heinola and Isaak Phillips, who was summoned from the Manitoba Moose, took their place in the lineup.
