Street cleaning starts Sunday

The City of Winnipeg will begin its annual spring cleanup, sweeping the entire street network over six weeks, on Sunday.

More than 300 pieces of equipment and about 500 workers will be involved in the work.

The city advises residents to use the Know Your Zone app to check for temporary cleanup-related parking restrictions and to watch for temporary no-parking signs.

The annual yard-waste program will begin April 28.
