Police are searching for suspects after three break-and-enters involving “numerous” suspects believed to be armed with at least one gun.
Portage la Prairie RCMP were called about thefts involving the same group of culprits in the Rural Municipality of North Norfolk between about 3:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
The suspects gained access to shops on the properties and stole all-terrain vehicles, power tools and a pickup truck. The cream-coloured 2010 Dodge Ram’s licence plate number is KHP 257.
The Manitoba First Nations Police Service officer eventually found the suspects’ vehicle in Sandy Bay First Nation and arrested a 17-year-old female who lives in that community.
RCMP released images of four culprits Monday, including one that appears to show a man holding a rifle.
