RCMP are searching for suspects after two shootings in northern Manitoba.
Police were sent to a residence on Hone Street in The Pas at 5:50 a.m. Monday after multiple shots were fired at the home. No one was injured.
Witnesses in the area reported seeing two males dressed all in black running from the scene to a black Dodge Ram pickup truck, described as being a 2015 to 2019 model.
At 4:25 p.m., the Manitoba First Nations Police Service were contacted about a robbery in nearby Opaskwayak Cree Nation. A 35-year-old Flin Flon man who had been robbed and shot was transported to hospital, where he remained in stable condition late Tuesday morning.
The suspect or suspects fled in a truck similar to the one sought in the shooting in The Pas.
The suspects and victims might know each other, RCMP said in a news release.
Police asked anyone with information about the shootings to contact The Pas RCMP at 204-627-6204, the MFNPS’s OCN detachment at 204-623-8201, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online.
