A facility closure at Terry Sawchuk Arena has been extended by a week.
The city announced the extension on Friday, with a new estimated reopening date slated for Jan. 7.
The closure at the rink in Winnipeg’s Valley Gardens neighbourhood was originally scheduled to last until Dec. 31. It initially closed on Nov. 26.
