Thompson RCMP looking for witnesses after assault

Thompson RCMP are looking for witnesses after a serious assault on Saturday evening.

Police say officers arrived just before 7 p.m. to find an unconscious 32-year-old man who had been attacked by several people. He was taken to hospital in Thompson and later airlifted to Winnipeg, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The suspects were seen fleeing the area in a dark-coloured SUV heading toward Princeton Drive.
