Tow trucks seized, two arrested in Transcona thefts

Winnipeg police have arrested two people and seized two tow trucks believed to be connected to a series of recent thefts of vehicles in Transcona.

The vehicles were stolen using tow trucks. Property crimes investigators are still looking into the thefts, police said Wednesday.

Police have asked anyone with information about the stolen vehicles, including surveillance video, to call investigators at 204-986-2426 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 204-786-8477.
