Truck shot at, teens charged

Four teens are facing charges after a gun was fired at a pickup truck in Pimicikamak Cree Nation.Cross Lake RCMP were called about shots fired in the area of Egg Lake and Beardy’s Point at 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Police eventually arrested four males — one age 17, the others 15 — in the latter area and seized a loaded rifle, a magazine, more ammunition and crack cocaine. The teens are facing firearm and drug  charges.

An investigation into the multiple reports of shots fired led officers to learn a pickup truck had been shot at numerous times, with no reported injuries.
