Two arrested following drug, guns investigation

Winnipeg police say two men are facing charges after a drug trafficking investigation in Elmwood.
Thursday, police executed a search warrant at a home on the 1-99 block of Watt Street. The men were arrested without incident, a Saturday news release states.
Police say they seized various firearms, 174 grams of methamphetamine, 50 grams of fentanyl, four grams of hydromorphone, cell phones, drug packaging materials, power tools and $1,725 worth of currency.
The men, aged 40 and 44, have been charged with multiple firearms, drug trafficking, possession of stolen property and proceeds of crime offences. They were detained in custody.
