Two face gun, drug charges after traffic stop

A man and woman from Winnipeg are in custody after police found a stolen gun and drugs during a traffic stop.
RCMP pulled over a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign in Little Saskatchewan First Nation Saturday at 1:45 p.m.
The male driver appeared to be impaired, a Monday RCMP news release said. When officers confirmed the man had breached court orders, he was arrested.
The female passenger was arrested after drugs were found in the vehicle, RCMP said.
Officers also found a loaded handgun (stolen from Alberta in 2022) and 16 ounces of cocaine.
A 45-year-old man and 28-year-old woman face multiple firearm and drug charges.
