Vacant Burrows Avenue house damaged by another fire

Crews extinguished another fire in a vacant Burrows Avenue house Wednesday.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was sent to the boarded-up house on the 300 block shortly before 1:40 p.m. and declared the fire under control roughly 40 minutes later.

The latest fire at the house — which was damaged in two previous fires on May 13 and May 17, 2023 — is under investigation. People were living in the house at the time of the first fire.
