Vehicle, motorcycle collide on McPhillips Street

A vehicle and a motorcycle collided on McPhillips Street near Jefferson Avenue, police say.

Winnipeg police spokesman Const. Claude Chancy said the collision occurred just before 4 p.m.

He could not immediately say whether anyone involved was injured, as police were still being dispatched to the scene to control traffic.

The City of Winnipeg’s transportation management centre said on social media emergency crews and the collision scene were blocking southbound lanes on McPhillips Street.

“Delays building,” the social media post said.
