A house fire on Victor Street on Monday night is believed to have started accidentally.
Crews were sent to the one-and-a-half storey home on the 500 block of Victor Street at 10:05 p.m. and declared the fire under control at 10:22 p.m.
Everyone inside got out before firefighters arrived. The City of Winnipeg’s emergency social services team was contacted to give temporary support to the displaced residents.
“Preliminary observations suggest the fire was accidental, caused by a malfunctioning bathroom exhaust fan,” the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service said in a news release Tuesday.
