Wanted man arrested for Assiniboine Avenue slaying

A man wanted for manslaughter in the killing of a man on Assiniboine Avenue has been arrested.

Jrayden Monias, 21, was arrested by RCMP in Island Lake on a warrant for the offence on Monday. The Winnipeg Police Service asked the public for help in locating Monias that same day and released an image of him.

Another suspect, 20-year-old Jadar Morrison, was arrested by city police on the 500 block of Grey Street early Friday and charged with manslaughter.

River Harper, 19, was found dead in an apartment on the 300 block of Assiniboine Avenue the morning of Feb. 7.
