The water supply at Seven Oaks Hospital was restored at about midnight Monday after it was shut off over the weekend because of a water-main break.
“Work is underway to fully restore all services at the hospital, and we will continue collaborating with regional partners to maintain continuity of care for our patients,” a spokesperson for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority said in a news release Monday morning.
“We want to extend our sincere gratitude to all staff for their dedication and tireless efforts during this challenging time.”
Flooding was noticed in a lower level of the facility at about 10 p.m. Saturday, the WRHA said Sunday.
The hospital’s urgent care centre remained open while the water supply was shut down. Water service at the Wellness Institute was not affected.
