Winnipeg police hate crimes investigators are probing an incident in which a Transcona homeowner’s LGBTTQ+ pride flag was ripped down, torn and burned.
The report came in on Wednesday from the homeowner.
Winnipeg police spokeswoman Const. Dani McKinnon said the report went to the major crimes unit, which includes specialized hate crime investigators.
