Winnipeg police search for home invasion suspects

City police are searching for two home invasion suspects who broke into a home early Friday.

Police said officers were sent to the home on the 100 block of Emerson Avenue, near Henderson Highway, at about 3:45 a.m.

Two men, 19 and 20, were inside the home during the incident. Two suspects assaulted one of the men and stole property before fleeing down Henderson. The injured man was taken to hospital in stable condition.
