Winnipeg woman, 40, charged in Trans-Canada Highway crash west of Falcon Lake

A woman has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm after a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Falcon Lake.
Mounties said in a news release that a westbound SUV crossed over the centre line and hit an eastbound pickup truck Monday. Falcon Lake RCMP were sent to the collision at Falcon Creek Road shortly after 5:40 p.m.
The man driving the truck, a 68-year-old Ontario resident, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Winnipeg hospital by STARS air ambulance. The driver of the SUV, a 40-year-old Winnipeg woman, was treated for minor injuries and released from hospital.
She was released from police custody on an appearance notice after being charged.
