Woman charged in infant’s death in Lynn Lake last year

A woman is charged with criminal negligence causing death after an infant died nearly a year ago.
Police said the two-month-old child died from drowning.
Lynn Lake RCMP were sent to the community’s hospital on Sept. 6 after the infant was taken there. She was pronounced dead in hospital.
After consulting with Crown attorneys, a 38-year-old woman was charged, RCMP said in a news release Thursday.
