Woman dies after stabbing in Selkirk

A 39-year-old woman died in hospital after she was stabbed in Selkirk late Monday, RCMP say.

Mounties were called to Manitoba Avenue in the small city north of Winnipeg just before midnight, where they found the woman, whose name wasn’t released, suffering critical injuries outside of a business.

Paramedics rushed the woman to hospital, but she soon died.

Her death is being investigated as a homicide. RCMP have not yet said whether investigators have identified any suspects.
